HOUSE OR HOME?
The home is abstract. As my mother said "the home is the family". The house is palpable, physical, is the construction. This is the difference.
BATHROOM, RESTROOM, TOILET...
Did you know you have more than one word to say "bathroom"? When you are in a public toilet, you can say either "restroom", "ladies's/ men's room" or simply "toilet". You can use the word "loo" too. When you have a bathroom in your house it is called "bathroom" (oh!). The bathroom, usually contains a shower, bathtub and toilet bowl. A restroom is just a toilet and sink. You got it? I hope so.
See you!
